New Services

Sept. 2023

Wyzer Biosciences is pleased to announce two new services: Plasmid-SIMPLE™ and Plasmid-FS™. These services are designed to simplify and expediate plasmid sequencing using Oxford-Nanopore's single molecule sequencing technology and our own improved data analysis pipelines. Enjoy the same-or better-rapid turnaround time and detailed data analysis that you've come to expect from us, now on Nanopore, for a lower cost.

The Plasmid-SIMPLE™ is protocol is best suited for the sequencing of simple plasmids with 100x+ coverage, and returns a consensus sequence in fasta format. The Plasmid-FS™ protocol is designed to provide more in-depth sequencing and analysis of complex plasmids, including restriction enzyme digestion and PCR-free library prep, and returns an aligned consensus sequence, complete coverage data with FRED quality scores, and a table of all deviations from the provided reference sequence. Fastq and BAM files are available upon request.

Meet us at ABRF 2023!

March 2023

Wyzer Biosciences is excited to announce that we are sponsors for the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Association of Biomolecular Research Facilities, held this year at the Sheraton in Copley Square. We will have a booth in the vendor hall from Sunday, May 7th through Wednesday, May 10th. This conference brings together core facilities managers, researchers, technicians, and students from across the United States to share information and research, learn about new techniques and technologies, and network.

As a sequencing and molecular biology service provider, we function similarly to a core lab for many of our clients. We seek to provide high quality, rapid results from the best of current sequencing technology to all our clients, with the same detailed assistance, professional insight, and expertise that scientists at larger research institutions expect from their core facilities managers. This conference will allow us to better develop our services to suit our client's changing needs.

Additionally, we hope to get the chance to meet with many existing and potential clients. Please stop by our booth to say hello, learn about our services, and meet with our lab managers, technicians, and CEO!
