Wyzer Biosciences, Inc. is a privately held company founded by scientists, for scientists. We have been located in Cambridge, MA since our inception in 2011. Initially offering only Sanger Sequencing, our services and our team have expanded over the past decade to include departments dedicated to DNA Preparation, NGS Sequencing, and specialized molecular biology services. We work closely with our partners in a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and academia.

Our Core Services

Sanger Sequencing

Our optimized Sanger Sequencing protocols are well-suited for all kinds of templates - from genotyping to confirmation sequencing to difficult templates, we have you covered.


DNA Preparation

We use electrocompetent or chemically competent E. coli cells for DNA transformation, accommodate a wide variety of antibiotic resistances, and prep between mini and giga daily.

NGS Sequencing

We offer specialized in NGS services at multiple throughput levels, from extraction or library prep through sequencing, using Illumina and Complete Genomics™ SBS technology.

Single Molecule Sequencing

Our Plasmid-FS™ and Plasmid-Simple™ pipelines, which use Oxford-Nanopore Technologies sequencing, allow clients to obtain full-plasmid sequencing data faster and often at a lower price point.


Molecular Biology Services

To accelerate our customer's projects, we provide a variety of adjacent molecular biology services, including DNA and RNA extraction, Normalization, Restriction Enzyme Digests, cDNA synthesis, PCR, and Exo-CIP™.
